What used to be Juniper is now Taylor Ray's Cafe. They recently went under a remodel and rebranding from my understanding. I've never been here before, but I must say, they have good food options I haven't seen before and every flavor for coffee or Red Bull you could think of. I ordered the T-Rex breakfast sandwich with a s'mores coffee, which was recommended by a barista based off my preferences. I tend to be a bit picky so this was extremely helpful. I must say, I don't normally drink coffee, let alone drink it quickly, but my drink was gone before leaving the cafe. It was also comforting to see the baristas ensuring the flavors were right and not overpowering one another by seeing them check the drink and checked in with other coworkers. The sandwich was hot and delicious, and the sauce they use too was unique and really good. Nothing like you'd get from a mass chain coffee place. I also saw many reviews about it being "pre made" but you can tell they're made fresh every morning just but the flavor and looking at it. The customer service was great and the staff were really friendly and out going. Think this is a great place to pick up any sort of drink you want (including pumpkin flavor year round!). It has a chill environment and seems like a very nice cafe. Will definitely be...
Read moreUPDATED REVIEW: I wanted to love this place but they are a serious hit or miss. Went there with my husband on a Saturday morning and waited over 15 minutes for just 2 coffees. I would've possibly waited longer had I not asked for a refund because we had to go. On a different occasion (more recently) we ordered two breakfast sandwiches, and 2 coffees, paid close to $30 for everything. Upon arrival back home, mine and my husband's sandwiches were BOTH cold in the center. Not only did they change their sandwiches to something not even remotely close to what they were before, they can't even keep up with the quality of the food, AND they are charging the same amount, if not more. Needless to say, we will not be back.
Pictured is the new sassy sow sandwich. Nothing remotely close to what the sandwich was like before. It used to have a full sized egg patty, sausage patty, with cheese on top.
OLD REVIEW: Love the vibe in this coffee spot. Ask for Kat’s drink. White coffee, white chocolate, caramel, cinnamon with oat milk. Definitely...
Read moreThis business is a joke. The owners are constantly changing hours, never communicating to staff or customers, cutting corners and can't implement changes properly. The amount of times I've been there and heard "I'm sorry we just started doing it this way" is ridiculous. The poor baristas (who are amazing by the way) never seem to have the support they need, and are always struggling. I also found out my favorite barista was fired for no reason, which was the last straw for me to never return. I sincerely suggest giving your business to other coffee stands. The only area this stand is successful at is hiring wonderful baristas! They are always hustling and positive, and take the time to greet my daughters by name. Hopefully this very bluntly honest review will help the owners realize they need to take a different approach. The location is great and has so much potential, the owners need to be fully involved on the floor or maybe just silent from afar, and leave it to an...
