Roadside Pub & Grille - Medina, OH — Restaurant in Lafayette Township

Was very excited for this place to re-open. After 3 visits in a month or so I'm very disappointed. Visit #1 was great. Couldn't even finish my medium pizza. Visit #2 my wife and I shared a "basket" of onion rings. When they came out there were 8 rings the size of 50 cent pieces. Even the bartender noticed and went and told the cook, who was the owner, to get us a little more. We got 4 more o-rings then the owner dressed down the bartender, around the corner but still in ear shot, for asking for more and told her to remember the portions. Today was Visit #3 and the pizza box was so light I had to stop n make sure there was actually pizza in it. The pizza shrunk by 1/2 both in diameter and thickness. A medium was more like a personal pan from Walmart. They told me they switched crusts. A total joke for a pizza. My wife's BLT had 11 fries and 1 piece of bacon cut in half. I understand the need to control costs but spend the extra buck or 2 and go to Genos up the road. Sad to say I'm done with this place until I hear...

This place is consistently hit or miss depending on the mood of whomever is serving. I stopped ordering food here about a year ago due to the portion sizes shrinking and the prices not reflecting. But I do hear the pizza is pretty good. Again, hit or miss there as well. Love the atmosphere, many of my friends hang here from time to time, that's really the only reason I swing thru these days. They only take cash, no plastic but they do have an ATM by the restrooms. My advise; it your planning on running a large tab, DONT! Pay as you go. Food is hit or miss; sometimes ok to good, other times burned bottom crust on pizza and stromboli and wings pigeon-sized. Really inconsistent food quality. Beer is cold. Cocktails are hit or miss depending on bartender on duty at the time. Music is wayyyy too loud; it is difficult to impossible to carry on a conversation with the person next to you. If it were not for the fact my brother and sister in-law go there because it is very close to where they live, I would not be entering this establishment.
