Asian Gourmet Restaurant — Restaurant in Lafayette

Asian Gourmet is again sharing there space with someone else. Seems this other person does Soul Food. Well today happened to be Barbecue Sunday. I ended up getting the chicken with rice dressing, garlic bread, beans and thin spaghetti noodles with cheese. The chicken was moist and well seasoned with a nice smokiness to it. The dressing, bread and beans were also pretty good. Only thing I didn't care about were the noodles. In a day and age when restaurants are gouging customers (because of greed and not because of cost) this lady definitely is not doing that. My plate lunch was under $11.00 ( that's right under$11) tax included. The customer service was outstanding. Good food, customer service and prices. Yes...

Apparently they shouldn’t be dealing with seafood, if they don’t care about serving fresh seafood, they sure could care less about the customer’s health! I got boiled crabs, and they smelled horrible and taste even worse. The crabs taste spoiled, like they perished before they were even boiled.They tried to hide the smell and taste by over seasoning, I’m never doing business with this...

Fish an shrimp platter, looked like only put one piece of an cut it into 3 pieces. A lady was up there paid 4 dollars for one piece of turkey neck an she showed it to us. Looked like they it in half. Wasn't long enough for 4 dollars. She ask for another little turkey neck to make it worth 4 dollars an was refused... Will not go...
