Oh my goodness!! I use to love Kevin’s seafood man… (even “Kevin Seafood” when they had that sign up on ambassador spelled like that)… but tonight was outrageous and unacceptable. I ordered 3 plates online, paid online, ADDED a damn tip online even though I drove over to pick it up.,, And they were horrendous! Guys and gals.. what are we doing!!? They only had one order sitting there ready for pick up which was clearly mine as I told them the name on the order, described the plates, AND showed them my debit card used to verify the payment method…… After doing all of this, the confused (to put it nicely) woman behind the counter asked me for some IDENTIFICATION before giving me the order I payed for already and showed them the debit card used for the purchase. They then proceeded to moderately berate me about “don’t ever place an order online!, always call it in”… in the year of 2024… they continued to exclaim that I am causing them problems by ordering online, paying prior to arrival, and driving over there to get it myself in order to minimize traffic, knowing that they have a parking lot which use to be an old auto parts store holding 10 or so cars! After that, I told them politely that this would be my last order here and they decided to follow me out of the store repeatedly stating “thank you!” in front of all the other sweaty, frustrated patrons leaning on walls in the lobby while waiting on food. This location is an embarrassment to the restaurants of Lafayette and should not be supported in any way.. We don’t expect that here as locals, so you can understand how awe struck and taken aback I was by the level of rudeness and complete lack of appreciation displayed. Together, we can close the doors on places like this that don’t deserve to be a part of our wonderful city’s food culture. Please join in and BAN this facility from any work, home, or tailgating opportunities to provide sustenance to our wonderful Cajun folks. We have the power to remove them and make our city what we have always loved and expected. This is one of my few reviews… yes, it is that serious. Please refrain from giving them your business and perpetuating such cultural destruction…. We don’t need them, but they NEED us.. yet they are the ones that seem to have forgotten this. Those who read this, do yourself and our community a favor by choosing another location for your meal… I have had better service and respect at the gas station connected Church’s Fried Chicken, just for reference. Today we got the most disrespectful and disgusting service. The man had an attitude with my boyfriend upon pick up of the order even jacked money out of his hand strike one. Then we both go to dig in our food there is hair in my boyfriend food so I am eating mine I bit into my rice there are egg shells in my rice. I mean a child could have been eating this and choked or cut their throat. Then upon finding the egg shells I look more into the plate the rice has even more egg shells and my fish has a hair on it that’s two hairs found now. So I call them because I never had a bad experience before told them all that happened not once did she apologize (who they say was the owner) she made excuses as to why there are egg shells in the food and when I asked well what about the hair she said she don’t know but if we want to bring the food back then they can give us some more plates I said ma’am I don’t want more plates if y’all got hair and egg shells in y’all food and u not even sorry about it u just making up excuses she hung up in my face. Burnt me up. So I called back and she gets loud with me saying ma’am I don’t have time for you I’m busy. That’s not how you handle customers that are regulars with u I mean I always buy from them yes at that point I did curse her out because now it’s not about the money it’s about your professionalism as a business owner and you lost all points with me. I have even had food missing from this place on occasions but never fussed because they have a policy to check ya food before you leave and since they was so good I just sucked it up each time but now they are out of hand y’all attitude has gone at an all time low and now y’all got hair and egg shells in y’all food no customer can control that and why would they want another plate I’m disgusted at this point the least she could have done was be professional and say if you come down with the plates and show me I can get your money cuz I know there are crooks that try to get away with things but I’m not one of them I loved this place cuz their fish was always bomb but now they will never see another dollar from my family and I think you all should think wisely before you choose to spend...

I ordered by phone ahead of time and went to pick it up (being that the order was for one of my parents and they have enjoyed the food from here before). After waiting for my food for an HOUR, I go to find out where my order is. They informed me that they gave my food to someone else accidentally but offered to fix me another order. No problem. While I'm waiting for my food (which took another 30 minutes) I'm talking to the person in charge about a full refund or to even pay half price (which I proposed) because I have waited for over an HOUR AND A HALF at this point. The person in charge says, "THE BEST I CAN DO IS GIVE YOU 2 FREE EGG ROLLS". REALLY?? THAT'S ALL YOU CAN DO FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!!!!? The customer service I received was down right insulting!!! Customers should not be treated this way under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! I am NEVER patronizing this business and I suggest that others...
