My wife and I ate here for the first time. We avoided this place because it looked very old and never many cars or trucks in the parking lot. We've lived in the area for 2 years and tonight we broke down and decided to give this place a shot. We were greeted nicely at the door and were seated immediately. They brought some chips and the best salsa I've had in years. No other restaurant in 20 miles makes salsa this good. My wife agreed. They promptly brought us our drinks and took our order. The prices were much less than other Mexican restaurants in a 20 mile radius. When the food came it was fresh and hot like it should be. I don't know how they cooked it so fast. The place started filling up with people. I have to say, everything we ordered was excellent. We were asked a few times if everything was good and if we needed refils on drinks. We noticed there was a lot of takeout orders being made which would explain why there were not many cars in the parking lot but as I mentioned, people were driving in and the parking lot was getting full as we were leaving. Great service, good food and the music that was playing was a mix of Mexican song types so we didn't know what the next song would sound like and that was cool. Most Mexican restaurants play one type of Mexican music and it gets boring but not here. It's Nov 2023 and it's time you try this place. Make your own reviewing and stop letting people judge where you should eat. People get a burnt toast and give a bad review but let's be real, have you ever burt toast? Would you eat at your home again after you burnt toast? 🤔 We had great food and now regret not coming here before now. We also looked at the reviews but decided we would decide for ourselves and not let others decide for us. They may have posted their review with...
Read moremy family went here a few weeks ago and we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the service being so good. We also found that the food was really good as well. It's probably the first actual Mexican food restaurant that my daughter has actually eaten everything that was brought to her and enjoy it. the only downside to this is that it is kind of expensive compared to other Mexican restaurants have similar style.for ordering practically the same thing that we had ordered it every other type of Mexican restaurant our bill was roughly about $15 higher. so this is definitely going to be a place that is more of a treat for us rather than a regular occurrence.food was definitely worth the money from my perspective but my wife thought it was a little pricey for her.
also worth noting that they were exceptionally detailed when it came to finding out what kind of ingredients were in their food because of my wife's allergies. They have no problems and being as...
Read moreMy family and I went here after a different restaurant was inaccessible due to a parade. The waiter sat us and took our orders almost immediately and gave us some chips and simple salsa. I ordered a vegetarian plate, my siblings cheese nachos and nachos supreme, my mom carne asada, my grandmother pollos hern-something (can’t remember what it’s called), and my grandfather something else (can’t remember) without dairy. We also got a guacamole dip for appetizers. The waiters were pretty nice, and our food came out sizzling! We left, all good thoughts. My only complaint was that I think they got some other food parts into my food, and my bell peppers were a little overcooked. It was...
