This establishment is amazing! My sister went up to Arrowhead for a much needed getaway with her daughters. She checked the forecast and saw that there was a chance of snow on the day she was leaving. She bought chains “just in case.” The morning she was leaving, she woke up to snow and went out to put the chains on her car. They were the wrong size! She then attempted to drive but didn’t feel comfortable due to a lack of traction. She ended up parking in the parking lot of the Stone Creek Bistro trying to map out her next plan of action. She tried AAA they were of no help, she tried the police and they just made her feel worse. Then her daughter had to use the restroom but the restaurant wasn’t open yet. Some employees were in the restaurant and saw that my sister and my nieces needed help and a warm place to rest. They opened their doors early and turned their burners on to let my niece use the restroom and they made them all a warm meal. This place is incredible. I will definitely be eating here in the future. They saw that some fellow humans needed help and instead of turning them away, they opened their doors early and made my sister and nieces warm and welcome. Thank you so much Stone Creek Bistro. You deserve a million stars!
UPDATE: I’m floored! As if this place hadn’t already done enough for my sister and my nieces, the owner drove her to a store to buy some chains (that fit!). There are angels among us. I’m so happy my family will safely make it down the mountain today and that may have not been the case if it wasn’t for the wonderful people at Stone...
Read moreOn Friday September 26, 2025, my wife decided to take me here for my birthday dinner. The place was packed with customers. After our meal, which came to 56 dollars and some change, I gave the server a 100 dollar bill. She left with the money then returned after a while, stating they did not have change so they could not accept this cash payment. We were stunned that such a busy place couldn’t produce what would have been $34 in change ( accounting for a $10 tip). The server offered to have someone ‘take the money down ( somewhere else, I don’t recall the name) to get change” - which we found to be an odd offer or “we could pay with card”. What it appeared like, in actuality, was that they were hesitant to take the $100 bill because we were an African American couple. The server was very plesant but because of this odd and embarrassing event we will not come here again nor will we recommend this place to any of our family or friends. Note: The server also said She would be bringing a free dessert for my birthday, which she did not after this whole incident. We still paid the tab with cash and gave the full tip despite but this treatment definitely left us with an unsettling feeling towards this...
Read moreFriend choose this place because of the reviews. I'm glad he did. We called last minute to see if we needed reservations. Since it was only 2 of us they squeezed us in. Very nice. Thinking it was upscale, I got dressed up. When we got there, I noticed people were dressed a lot more casual. So I guess don't worry too much about being dressed to the 9's unless you want to. Staff was friendly. Our waitress Marcy was very sweet and helpful. She took good care of us. Everything we ordered was really good. Appetizers Calamari(a touch salty otherwise perfect), mac n cheese balls were very yummy. Get them. My cheddar/ale soup very good. My entree, the flat iron steak I ordered medium- rare was cooked to perfection. The potatoes au gratin as a side were so good, wonderful flavors. Wish I knew that recipe. My birthday Creme Brulee at the end was delicious! I would definitely recommend for a...
