Paradise Grill & Daiquiris — Restaurant in Lake Charles

We ordered a poboy, jalapeño club sandwich,fried pickles, and egg rolls. The egg rolls and fried pickles were THE BEST part. There are no prices on anything . you have to scan a qr code to find them, and the qr code did not work. It said the link it took us to was no longer available. We ordered with a male waiter, had to basically beg for refills, and our order was not correct. A female waitress then came out to finish waiting on us once our food was delivered. I'm not sure if the Sulphur and Moss Bluff locations are the same? We go to Sulphur location often and have no issues ,we figured we would try moss bluff since its close to our home. When we ordered the jalapeño old fashioned club, that's not what they sent. We showed the waiter a picture of the one we have ordered many times in sukphur, and he said oh that's just an old fashioned and yall added jalapeño and jalapeño mayo to it. So he sent back the other thing they brought out to my husband. He came out about 10 minutes later with what my husband had originally asked for. I feel like there may be some communication issues between the 2 stores. We will definitely be frequenting the Sulphur location more than Moss Bluff. The staff is very friendly and attentive at Sulphur, unlike Moss bluff. There was only one other family eating at the restaurant , but about 5 or 6 teen aged/young adult people at the bar area laughing and looking at phones. So let me start by saying the food is delicious and the drafts are cold. I was out here with the boys several times and we were treated well. Last night, we stopped by the drive thru to pick up some drinks, and we were asked for our ID. After presenting our Texas IDs, the entire shift crew gathered around them and were having some sort of discussion. They passed around our IDs and even bent them. At that point I peeked over to ask what was going on. The manager slammed the window closed in my face. I asked for our IDs back through the glass and they ignored me. When they finally came out, I took them back, and asked what the issue was. They said the cards were too flimsy, which is what all Texas IDs are now; the old ones were not. However, I doubt we are the first Texans to come across this place for the past 10 years. I said, “Well, some people sure make Hispanics feel unwelcome in this part of LA”, and the girl at the register just laughed. This isn’t Miss Bluff for you. This isn’t even Paradise for you. This is just a bunch of backwards, ignorant kids that were unfortunately allowed to work in an otherwise wonderful place. This place deserves five stars, but...

Lake Charles on Prien Lake Rd

No hostess. I waited awhile before I walked to bar to ask;"Do I seat myself?* Someone came quickly and seated me nicely. I waited awhile AGAIN and had to ask a waitress to be my waitress she replied,"Not my section." Ugh! I was waiting on a few others to arrive so I patiently waited. A nice waitress finally asked to get me a drink and an appetizer. I ordered and was served. My appetizer came out about 30 minutes later from when I ordered. As soon as half way done with appetizer; our food came out. Pet peev I have I guess. APPETIZER TOOK 30 MINUTES TO MAKE AND SANDWICHES TOOk 10 MINUTES. smh. Oh my order was "wrong" but still tasted great. Yes I told waitress. I never return food back to kitchen. Never! It was good

That's all to be expected though when a new business opens. They seemed short staff. Communication needs to be improved on dining foor. A sign that says Seat yourself or wait to be seated

The absolute shocker was 3 burgers, 2 sodas, and 1 appetizer was $75.00!!!!! THE PRICES ARE NOT ON MENU! CRAZY!

I will not be going back! Or ordering online!
