They know how to make a person want to come back time & time again! Beer 5⭐ Food 5⭐ Service 5⭐ Atmosphere 5⭐ Did I mention beer & food?!? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've been there 3 times and each time is just as amazing as the last. Every beer is brewed to perfection and they have something for everyone. There isn't just 1 beer that's good & the rest are "fillers" ... ALL the beers are OUTSTANDING!!!🍻 I won't list all the beers to enjoy because I'd be listing all of them! If you drink any beer, they have one that's perfect for you. If you don't drink beer, get the Pina Colada slushie. The food is seriously delicious!! All the ingredients are high quality and thoughtfully put together; you're not eating at a random brewery, it's a gastropub!! The flat breads are big, the elk burger is perfectly seasoned, their specialty items (shrimp tacos, reuben, pulled pork bahn mi, gilled chicken salad with maple balsamic dressing) are superb, and the loaded antlers are a great "twist" to the traditional french fry. If the beer & the food can't get you to commit long term, the service & atmosphere will!! It's obvious the family & friends of the owners are just as passionate about The Twisted Elk as Brad & Michelle, the owners, are. I truly enjoy our conversations with Shawn (bartender & friend of owners), Sam (server & family of owners) and of course Brad & Michelle. Going to The Twisted Elk is like going to a friend's house ... who is a master brewer, an executive chef & a Pinterest guru ... and hosting an open house/get-together to showcase all their fun & tasty talents. It just feels right!! And they are just getting started. They already have outdoor seating, the outdoor stage for live events is currently underway & I can only imagine the big unveilings yet to be. This is going to be a great stop for passer-byers and an even better home for local patrons. Bravo The Twisted Elk,...
Read moreExcellent, top notch experience. Exceeded my expectations. The smash burger was prob one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Seasoned, juicy, banging! The elk burger- ahhh, it wasn’t as amazing as I expected. Could use some more seasoning or flavor somehow, kinda dull tbh since it prob comes frozen. We got an appetizer of fries with the beer cheese and they were delicious! Beer cheese was addictingly good and the wedge/spiral cut fries were tasty. The fruited tropic beer was nice and light. Just enough flavor but could add more fruit to it like a kiwi strawberry to really make it snap! Other beers were excellent. The Kona coffee was amazing. Previous barista here and trust me, kona beans are pricey $$$ so it adds a quality craftsmanship to it. Red ale was great too! Only thing to improve is prob the bags of chips. I feel that for a $15.50 burger it should include fries. Bagged chips show a cafeteria vibe, order at the window, and this place raises the bar for Erie and brewery eatery. Lastly, all of the staff were super kind. The owner, our bartender Jessica and everyone else was so kind and sincere. Truly enjoyed hanging with them. Would love to come back and or see them at a community event and meet the brewers! Looking forward to some more seasonals. I recommend another sour besides cherry lol maybe something tangerine like or pineapple. Thanks a ton and keep it up. 5 stars for the quality of craftsmanship, the quaint interior, chill patio, and friendly customer service and personable...
Read moreI tell you what I have never had service and food this great in my life. I pull up with my girlfriend and 2 golden retrievers and I had just about everyone show us that pups are welcome. So that was a great relief not only that but the employees showed nothing but love to both of my pups. Every staff member said hello as well 2 water bowls within in 3 minutes. Followed up with great explanation of the place from food to live music! Ordered the tacos which were to die for and the loaded fries were excellent. We are from Pittsburgh and have traveled all around the brewery scene and this is by far the best ever! Keep up the great work and amazing staff. We...
