O'Haras Rock & Roll Tavern — Restaurant in Lake Elsinore

The place was the place to be for the New Years, if you weren't there then you missed out and be bummed out when you here about it. You shouldn't of stayed home and sleeping at 10:30 at nite. My highline of the nite besides Nipa was Rex singing " WAR PIGS " SUNG BETTER THEN WHEN I FIRST HEARD IT LIVE IN 1975 Starlite festival Orange Show San Bernardino . Black Sabbath , Lynard Skynard, Brownsville station, Peter Frampton. Just looking for an oncore coming soon. Oh yes, the Bartenders unbelievably Gorgeous the guy was a little Scruffy but cool as Hell.. I sing everyday on my system, that night when I got home my neighbors were calling at 4am ok Jeff that's enough....

I really like this place, I've come in a few times in the last 15 yrs for quick one when on my scooter, 20 mins tops. I stoped in last week and was surprised darts were back in play, so i stayed a while, came back next night to hear the band. Good band, everyone was having a great time, good folks all. Great, friendly service from staff, which I haven't really seen elsewhere in years. Was in again last night, Saturday, and the band was awesome!!! I not just saying that cause played some Cream, and more, for me. They really are a very good band. If you're looking for a nice place to have a drink and relax after work or play pool or darts this is it. ...

The 1 star for food is because if they have it, I never asked and that's not why I stopped in. The experience as a whole is exactly what I was hoping for. The bartender is attentive and observant. The regulars are relaxed and friendly. Didn't think I'd find a bar like this in Cali. Not sure how they describe themselves but I'd say it's a dive bar/ home bar. If your wanting to have a drink and relax, then I'd say you found the right spot. I'll be back someday. * Changed food to 3 stars just for the simple fact that they do serve.
