Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Lake Forest

Today I went in everything seemed okay except when I got my sandwich the young black girl asked if I wanted my receipt but I did not hear her the first time, so when I asked it’s the receipt ? I said no thanks since I was given the option. and while I was walking out she starting talking about me to her co workers making fun of my reaction when she asked me. I only knew cause I heard her say that girl something and then the gentleman walking out behind me told me I was being made fun of, which confirmed my suspicions. I told him , why ask me if I want my receipt after i already paid because I should have got it then and the cashier didn’t give me one.?I should have got it when I paid, my opinion. Which I don’t care but This also happened to my co worker Samantha just a few hours before me today and when I got back to work I told her what happened and she said the black girl did the same thing to her. Inappropriate and unprofessional for one. Two just make the sandwich and put the label on it if that’s the receipt she’s referring to cause other locations just slap the order info on it. Jimmy Johns in general is awesome. Great food, typically very good service. The one that I go to (Lake Forest) has terrible service. I literally live a block away but do not have a car so I get it delivered. They take at least 40 minutes to get here and almost get my order wrong every time. The people are nice, but that's not what I'm looking for. They also always forget to bring a pen to sign with, put napkins in the bag, and never put a straw in there either. My boyfriend used to work for them and they treated him badly. One day I went to pick him up after work and decided I wanted to get a sandwich. They wouldn't serve me because I wasn't a priority customer because I was dating one of the employees. Really?? REALLY? I'm still a customer. I still am willing to pay.

I order from this location almost everyday for lunch, have never made a mistake. They're very quick and polite. I understand accidents happen, and I received the wrong sandwich. Right away they sent out a new sandwich and coke. I was VERY pleased and satisfied with how sorry they were and their speed of making it to my house on my lunch break. I will continue to order from here weekly....
