Gold Water Cafe — Restaurant in Lake George

I visited the Lake George Cafe recently and was all-around impressed with the coffee, pastries, service, and atmosphere. The pastry was as good as any I get back in the big city where I live. The mocha had smooth coffee taste, deeply chocolatey, and was served at the perfect temperature. It felt homey and welcoming, with the staff recognizing locals by name yet still extending the same courtesy to visitors. The menu had lots of lunch options as well. I look forward to returning when I'm in the area again...

I’m leaving 5 stars because I KNOW everything about this place is amazing! I worked for the owners for 4.5 years at the best bar with the most amazing food in Colorado Springs, and I MISS everything about it! A lot of people do! Y’all who are so lucky to have them in your town.. please support them! They deserve it! Absolutely the best Caramel Macchaito I have had, my wife agreed. The service came with an awesome history lesson of the town and it just felt like a warm and cozy place to take a load off and enjoy some coffee and pastries or pie. If you are passing through, you owe it to yourself to stop and get the caramel macchaito. That particular coffee could make this place a destination...
