A classic Wisconsin gem! The Sportsman's Club is literally sitting on a clover patch!🍀 I’ve found tons of four-leaf clovers here, which already makes it magical in my book. Yes, it’s a crusty old man bar (in the best way), but the people are super friendly, especially my favorite bartenders Donna & Tammy who always serve up perfect Bloodies (10/10 from a picky Bloody Mary girl!). Managed poorly. Bar manager is grumpy and lets her husband get away with anything. You can hear the regulars talking about you before you even get out of your car - clickyist place I've ever been in. Strangers are treated like aliens. Supposed to be a non profit sportsmans club and they have 100's of thousands of dollars in the bank. Board of directors uses their meaninless appointments for personal vendetas. The board and members constantly bad mouth each other and others. Its been a personal piggy bank for years. Was fishing on May 18th around 830PM. I noticed at umbrella belonging to the sportsman's club. I brought it over and the bartender thanked me profusely. I didn't want a thanks.
