I had the pleasure of visiting Burnt Barrel Meadery, and it was an absolute delight. Nestled in an unassuming location, this meadery is a hidden gem for anyone seeking a unique and flavorful experience.

The meads at Burnt Barrel are nothing short of exceptional. I had the opportunity to sample a variety of their offerings, and each one was a delightful surprise for my taste buds. From the rich and sweet traditional meads to the creatively crafted flavors, there’s something here for every palate. The quality and craftsmanship that go into their meads are evident with every sip.

What sets Burnt Barrel apart, aside from the outstanding meads, is the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable.

While it may not be the most conspicuous spot, I can assure you that it’s well worth the visit. Burnt Barrel Meadery deserves recognition for its dedication to producing top-notch meads that leave a lasting impression. I absolutely love this place! It has a great laid-back vibe, the owner is super friendly, and they have the best drinks around! Try the barrel-aged old fashioned - trust me!! There is always a rotating selection of mead flavors (if you don't think you like mead, I recommend trying a mead flight at Burnt Barrel - it will change your mind!) as well as several house-made spirits, and of course a few n/a options for your designated driver as well ;) They don't serve food at Burnt Barrel but they are happy to have you bring in your own food or snacks or even order DoorDash. They have a selection of games, including card games, board games, giant connect-four, and a working pinball machine. Bonus: every time I walk in, Bob Ross is on all the TVs. Public service announcement!! OMG...I was at a place today that all my friends in the boating community while traveling south to the Lake Of the Ozarks should venture in!!! Right outside of St.Charles ..Ofallon MO. On hyway 70 Is a place called BURNT BARREL MEADERY! A micro meadery!! Which is fantastic!! So ya know..while traveling to the lake .".right around that area traffic always sucks " so you might as well chill and step inside cause You will still arrive at the same time anyway to the lake anyway..only happier..!!
