I wish I could give this restaurant a good rating, but I can not. The service was very slow, which resulted in cold, greasy food. In most Mexican restaurants, when you order fajitas, it comes out sizzling, and you're warned the skillet is hot. This was not the case here. We also had to ask for the tortillas, which resulted in more waiting to start eating our meal. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this time, it's warranted. The food was cold and greasy. Service was slow and not good. When we asked for our bill, it took our server quite a long time to return with it and a couple of to go boxes. This bill was wrong and had extra charges on it. We had an extra drink added to our bill as well as some random charges. I asked our server to correct our bill and explain what the extra charges were. She tried to explain and it was difficult to understand her so we requested to speak to the manager. The manager walked over with a sour look on his face and proceeded to yell at us. I haven't been that embarrassed in a very long time. He told us that "we have to pay for the Styrofoam boxes for our leftovers, and the order to go" (I ordered some food to take home for the kids) had multiple boxes that we also had to pay for. Then he suggested we bring our own containers for leftovers and to go orders in the future. We were also charged for using a credit card instead of cash. I was in shock! He was loud, rude, and very condescending. People at the near by tables were looking and listening to the spectacular performance of this man and his overbearing display. Needless to say, I will nevr eat there again, no way José! All in all, if subpar cold, greasy Mexican food served at a dirty restaurant is your thing, then you're in luck. Also, bring cash and your own containers if you are ordering To Go or think you may...
Read moreThere is a credit card fee on your bill. So I paid with cash, got half way to the car and realized I never got my change so I went back in and the employee told me i shouldn’t get change. I explained that I gave you cash so my bill would obviously be cheaper because I would not be charged a credit card fee. She rolled her eyes then proceed to try and remove the change from a donation cup or something and tries to give my $.20 instead of the full $.58 that it should have been. I told her that is not correct and she rolled her eyes again and finally opened the register and gave me $.50 like that was correct. I was tired of arguing so took that. Never got an apology or anything just an eye roll. Also might explain why she did not offer me a receipt when I paid originally, not really a good look to try and overcharge your customers. It’s a shame because I like to eat here, and I hate that I had to even do all this for a total of $.58 cents. Really more of a waste of time than it was worth but was really just the principle of it. I’m curious how many more people are being overcharged and given a credit card fee when they don’t even use a...
Read moreTLDR; The food was mediocre and the service was strange. Definitely not on my return visit list. Try it out if you are passing through, stay away if you're local.
It was after the lunch rush in a not so busy area. We sat next to the window several benches down from the door on the left. We were seating next to the service door where they come in and out from the kitchen. A woman was standing next to the service door across from our table the entire time we were there. We needed some help and asked for some napkins. She just looked at us strangely and nodded a few times. It was awkward as all get out for the first fifteen minutes. It wasn't until AFTER our waiter walked over and she spoke to him in Spanish that I realized she had no idea what we were saying. This whole time she's been staring at us smiling... and was doing what exactly? A few minutes would have been acceptable, but I'm talking 30-45 minutes. It was weird.
The server was really nice to us, but he did nothing to move the woman from standing beside us. He acted like she didn't exist and gave short responses when she spoke to him. It was one of the strangest lunches...
