I lived in tansi for years and ate there more times than I can count and never had any issues with there food is always good and staff was always curtious and helpful until today I had placed two to go orders and when I went in to pick them up my service dog accompanied in as she does everywhere I go but when we walk in there was someone from the kitchen up front and very rudely with a nasty tone ask me if Mattie was my service dog and then mouthed as he walked away not liking my answer but here's where it gets really over the line as I waited for my order the one that had interrogated up front had went to the back running his mouth and as the kitchen staff was not being quiet about it i could hear there conversation and were making sounds of what they thought someone with a disability makes and everyone in the kitchen took turns walking over to the door to see who they were talking about with one Hispanic guy waving and acting as if he was mentally challenged to me . The complete disrespect and conduct of the staff is all together unexcepable and the handicapped community should know the way were viewed by the staff and I hope others can understand why I'm not going there again and do the same the owner should get there staff under control no integrity or self-respect. Never been so mocked cause of my disability and the website bring fido says there pet friendly completely...
Read moreMy husband and I have a camp set up in the community and have always loved going there especially if we spent all day working on the property. One such occassion we did dinner and breakfast because it was an extremely working weekend and we've always had good meals there and I happened to order the fried chicken salad. Omg! It was great and a great portion. I loved it and I bragged about that so much. Well we were there this weekend and my Sister and her husband joined us. In fact 3 of us ordered a salad. Mine was the fried again and theirs was grilled. What a dissatisfied moment when it came to our table! My chicken was such thin slices and well overcooked! Almost burnt and the portions was as if someone made a small salad and then put it in a large bowl. It barely covered the bottom of the bowl. They did have that as a special on the board and I watched them erase salad off the board so that told me they didn't have enough product. I wish i would of known that prior so i could of ordered something else! Now it'll be awhile before we go back and I won't be ordering a salad again. I felt horrible for my family members to and kept apologizing! Only saving grace is we do get our Military discount there cause it wasn't worth the price we paid. Thank goodness in our home town i do know where to go for a great...
Read moreWe finally got to go and experience the 19th Hole Restaurant at Lake Tansi after many recommendations from others in the area. Everyone would urge us to try the cheeseburgers; they are the best. When we did go for lunch, the parking lot was filled yet we parked and went in anyway. A lot of the vehicles are folks golfing and/or fishing in the area as the restaurant is located in the golf course and lake area. The place was very neat and we were greeted upon entry by a pleasant and speedy waitress. She was knowledgeable, polite, and did things with a graceful type of urgency. My husband had the 1/2 burger with sweet potato fries which he gulped down with silence and glee. I opted for the fish sandwich with crinkle fries; delicious as well. The piece of fish wasn't a square patty; it was a huge piece of fish. My fish sandwich was flawless and just as I ordered it, specifically. Kudos to the chef alike. We both love the Thursday special of fried chicken livers as well. We may have been late finders of this quaint establishment but we will return; hopefully sooner than later. Highly recommended. Great...
