Pepe's Mexican — Restaurant in Lake Township

Stole $40 from me, then proceeded to tell me it was my fault. I never got a refund or food. My total came to $38.35, my card was swiped, money was taken. Upon completion the cashier proceeded to tell me that he made a mistake and charged me an additional $4.07. Unbeknownst to me, the $38.35 was already taken off my card. Then him trying to swipe my card again made it decline after trying to charge me $42 for the entire order AGAIN. I tell him, money was already taken from my card, and he tells me no it didn’t. Transaction was posted on my bank statement and all.. and the cashier tells me there is nothing he could do. I debated with him for over an hour. The manager Joshua Garcia was called and still no understanding. I was left without my money and without food. Never support restaurants...

Went to this location earlier today (5/2/25). I haven’t been there since I was a child. The food used to be so so good, but now it’s really bland, but it was fresh. I got a 10 mini beef taco plate and a #6 combo (included two chicken tacos, a drink, and a small fry for around 11 bucks). I did not add any extras to my order. Mind you, my total is 23 dollars and some change, and the TAX was a couple more dollars, bringing it $25.90 RIGHT?? I take that much out (using Cashapp for this), the guy tells me it declined. Called in my order, arrived to pick up and pay. There was a guy in front of me picking up. He then proceed to ask for a run down of the order the guy gives him the total and then he wait how much if I take something off. He then proceed to call the people who ordered with him cause apparently someone didn't pay enough. I'm like at this point can you assist me while this guy get it together.
