Silverback's — Restaurant in Lakefield

I was in Lakefield paying a bill and decided to try this place out. It's a small, quiet place and being just to miles off of 90 it's a good place to stop. Food is served fairly quickly with and has a wonderful home cooked taste at a great price and is served so hot and fresh, you have to either sit and look at your meal (such torment) or burn the roof of your mouth (worth the pain)! All in all it's a wonderful place to stop if you are traveling and are sick of gas station...

We arrived at Silverback’s for lunch. The place was not busy. We were not greeted when we arrived. When my wife asked the waitress do we sit anywhere, she seemed annoyed. The bathrooms were filthy. We appreciated the waitress entertaining our son with a coloring book while we waited for our food. Our son enjoyed his grilled cheese sandwich and our salad was good, but my wife found hair in her salad. Our drinks were not refilled. Our son did...
