Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Lakeport

Where do I start? Stepped up to order food, worker took order. Went to sit down to wait for my order, and an older lady (late 40s) with glasses that was on duty at 5pm on 1-27-25 started coughing profusely multiple times. I witnessed this, so naturally I got up to watch and make sure that hands got washed. Immediately after coughing, the lady went straight to making another customers blizzard, and grabbing the cup right by the rim with the same hand she was continuously coughing into! She hands the lady her blizzard while the lady looks disgusted, but seemingly not wanting to say anything. By this time, I've witnessed her cough at least 6 times right into her right hand hand (even had lips touching hand). I see my order be placed into the bar above the grill, and she heads to grab it. I'm furious, I yell out "hey wait a minute!". She stops and looks at me, and I Immediately say "mam, please have the other girl grab my food!". She looks disgusted as she explains "oh.... because I been coughing huh?". "It's not that kind of cough, but here, I'll sanitize my hands!". She then hits the button on the purell (or whatever brand) sanitize gel, rubs hands, then grabs our order, with her thumbs touching the cardboard container it's in on top.... I explain, "mam, it doesn't matter what kind of cough, a cough into the hand is a cough!".... She looks disgusted at me again, and I sit down to eat, hoping that the sanitizer done is job... There was another male customer who was also shouting that "you're right you're right, she NEEDS to wash her damn hands instead of sanitizing!". This rating is a warning to others that may eat here, and to the management that need to fix that problem Immediately before someone...

I’ve been searching for the taste of a burger of the grill. And this one has it. They have the BEST tasting burger in Gregg County. I do Taco Tuesday and they have a special on Hungerbusters on Tuesdays too. 🙌

I usually go hard on the burger and tacos and they are so friggin good! PLUS: they brew a great sweet tea. Some places ARE and some places ARE NOT. This place IS!!!! If you are in the Elderville area or if you just want a burger that has been cooked on a good grill, pop in here!!! ❤️ it!

It is so sad i can go to any other DQ and order a sundae the way i want but for some reason this store is the only one that gives issues. I just wanted to add oreo pieces to my sundae they refused and so did the general manager. Also they did do it beforehand but now its a problem.OMG what is the problem this really has to change. If i wanted to add extra oreo pieces to a blizzard it wouldnt be a problem you would just charge extra thats not that hard to do for a sundae. They did put cheese on my fries this time I'm so glad that issue was fixed The manager/ franchise of this store needs...
