JK Cafe — Restaurant in Lakeville

This experience would have rated 0 stars, except that I like the coffee and have been before with better result. There was a short line and 3 -4 people put names in. They sat the 1 st group and then crossed our name off and tried to sit the 3rd group. I made them aware and they rectified-no big deal. They took our order, but either lost it or ?. They served 3 other tables their food who were seated and ordered after us. I went to the counter to ask if they maybe misplaced the order. ( it happens sometimes). They said nope, it will be right out . They then proceeded to serve food to a group that sat down about 10minafter we ORDERED. Altogether wait for food was 1/2 hr from ordering. They then got the orders wrong. My grandson asked for a quesadilla w/o tomatoes. Came w/ them. They then took so long to remake it, that the rest of us were done eating by the time he got it. My son ordered a full stack of pancakes and they gave him a short stack and proceeded to charge for a full stack I the bill . They wouldn’t have even changed it when I brought it to their attention,except that another waitress confirmed she saw it was only a short stack. At no point did anyone come over and apologize for their screw ups . In addition- as another reviewer noted, they add on a 3% fee for using a credit card. I paid in cash and left. Not likely to return again. Too many other good breakfast places...

We had such a great experience at JK! We were originally going to go somewhere else but the reviews at the other place said we should come to JK instead of it was so worth it! I got the original combo with scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries , sourdough toast, and the churro French toast. I don’t even like French toast but it sounded so goooood That combo is definitely perfect if you like a sweet and savory breakfast. I had plenty to take home with me also.

My girlfriend got the eggs Benedict with bacon and it came with home fries too. She cleared that plate!

One of the best breakfast cafe’s in the area. They have plenty of seating options including tables and a counter. The service was great and our waitresses were very quick and responsive. The food is especially where they hit a home run: the home fries are to die for and the Benedict’s alongside the Biscuits and Gravy we got were truly out of this world! Everything tasted delicious and was made with plenty of fresh seasonings. We would highly recommend anyone in the area to check this new place out for amazing food and fantastic service.
