Lilac & Creme — Restaurant in Lakewood Township

Ordered a 7 inch cheesecake for $54 + shipping, which came out to almost $100 and they sent a 6 inch cheesecake. Normally I wouldn't mind, but for that price, I want every inch of the cheesecake I paid for. I reached out to see if perhaps they sent the wrong size and received no response.

Update to their response- I was being polite and giving them the benefit of the doubt by saying they may have sent the wrong size. But based on their response I can now only assume that their 7 inch cheesecake is actually 6 inches and that they are shorting their customers on the actual size of the cheesecake.

Do they actually think that if I flip the cake over and measure the bottom it will grow a whole inch? We're not talking abt 1/4in or 1/2in. A whole inch.

And I don't give a hoot what size the pan is. The pan can be 30 inches for all I care. As long as the cheesecake they send to their customers is 7 inches and not...

I was really excited to try the Dubai Cheesecake after seeing so many beautiful ads and pictures—it looked stunning and felt like the ultimate indulgence. I waited a long time and finally splurged, hoping for something truly special. Unfortunately, the cheesecake I received looked different than what I expected. It was green in color, and the kataifi was soggy instead of crunchy, which really took away from the signature Dubai experience. It was still pretty, but the taste and texture didn't live up to the hype or the price.

That said, I did stop by the pop-up shop before Yontif and picked up some dipped minis—those were absolutely delicious and a big hit with everyone!

I’d love to try again in the future if the Dubai Cheesecake goes back to the way it looked...

Ever since I heard about lilac and creme- mostly from Instagram bloggers- I've been craving to taste a cheesecake from you guys!! And finally finally this shavuos I decided it's time! I saw the kokosh cake ad and thought maybe this? But then I saw the Dubai cheesecake ad and figured this is my chance! Well, I paid a lot! Ordered the 9 inch and 30 bucks for shipping... But to my disappointment, the cheesecake had a very artificial pistachio flavor with no real pistachio cream\paste! I hardly felt the buttery crispy kataifi!! I must say I'm disappointed. I was expecting...
