Cottonwood Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Lakin

Imagine an uptown cozy coffee shop, but with the refreshing friendliness you only find in a small town. I love this place. There is nothing like taking a break from the busy-ness of life by stopping by Cottonwood, ordering a latte( in house mug yes, please!), wrapping you hands around the warm mug, visiting with friends and acquaintances, and just relishing the calm and happiness that lives in this coffee shop. One special thing about this coffee shop is that they have a nice kids corner. Some coffee shops aren't really that kid friendly, so this is a huge bonus in my mind. Mom's need to have coffee dates too! The staff is always friendly and the owners, John and Jenny, are such kind hearted people. I have never had any problems with my orders, but if anyone has complaints, I know that they will all try to make it better! You won't regret trying this...

What an incredible place!! Moving to town recently from a place my family and I were at for eleven years was tough. Cottonwood Coffeehouse has not only provided a stellar work environment but space for us to meet new people, which has made the move so much easier! Not only that but the staff are so friendly, and the coffee and pastries are high class. Also, having five kids soon, the cake pops, and the kid's corner will make it way easier to bring our kids and hang out in a coffee shop! Excellent espresso. Excellent breakfast sandwiches. Pretty good service. The customer accessable areas, at least, were very clean. Nice little coffee shop, with a relaxed atmosphere. The only complaint that I could have is that they're not open on the one day a week that I'm off work. On days that they are open, I'm at work two hours before they open, and still working for three more hours after they close. I can only go in if I'm away from work for...
