Hong Kong Palace — Restaurant in Lamar

I tried this place for the first time a couple of days ago. I have done repair work in restaurants all over Springfield/Branson. The first thing I noticed while sitting awaiting my takeout order. The kitchen in this restaurant was perhaps the cleanest commercial kitchen I've ever seen. No clutter or mess at all. Tony, the chef, prepared my order in a well seasoned wok and it was excellent, with large portions. It was great to see that this restaurant 100% supports the local kids in athletics. My one complaint, which I have with most oriental restaurants, the chunks of chicken in the cashew and orange chicken ... are just too big. I wish they were...

this place is amazing, having been all over the country I have gone to a great many Chinese restaurants. I love Chinese food with a passion, food was quick and completely fresh. Breading was crispy and the sause a delight. One bite of my sesame chicken and I was in heaven, without a dought the best I have ever had from Alaska to north Carolina....
