Krispy Cones Ice Cream — Restaurant in Lanesborough

This was not our first visit. Maybe the resting mean face of the girl taking our order who seemed very bothered should have been a red flag to run! Well sh3 took our order like order was killing her. The order was totally wrong. Asked for cheese fries, no cheese. Maybe half or less of the amount of friends that usually come with the burger and the burger was good but didn't have bacon, cheese, lettuce or tomatoe on it. Thank goodness they have bottles of ketchup. The actual burger was good but if you have had the bacon on it before you know what you are missing. We chalked it up to a bad day. It happ3ns. I worked food service before. We decided to get ice cream and had the same girl wait on us. A rush came and she was even worse with her radiating attitude. We ordered ice cream and asked for it in a dish and received both of our ice creams in a cone. It was humid and 92 degrees. You can only imagine..... it just started to instantly melt everywhere and she was bothered when we asked for a dish for ice cream after we let the line continue to order their ice cream and ours basically melted everywhere. Based off of her actions we don't ever see ourselves going back which is really sad because the food is amazing the ice cream is usually phenomenal but just her attitude and the way she treated people...

I had coconut & pineapple flavors mixed together, they're not available as 2 individual flavors in one dish (this applies to any of the flavors), but if you choose wisely you have a delicious flavor; mine tasted like a virgin Pina Colada 🥥. The size pictured above is a large, I bought 2 large soft serves & a medium w/sprinkles, + $2 tip (I didn't have much cash- they accept cash & credit/debit BTW) for a total of $15.63. The only bummer (myself & my kids were disappointed in the size, we all thought that the large would be a bit larger. Edit Went back again the following Saturday afternoon. For a beautiful sunny Spring afternoon, I expected a horrendous line of people, but the employees did a good job of getting through orders quickly. Shout out to a new employee, and a fantastic worker Averie McGrath, she did an amazing job at recommending which flavor I should try (I had trouble deciding between 2). Honestly, it sucks That I even have to write this but I am really fed up. I love the staff they're very friendly. The playground is awesome so much for the kids to do. However I am so sick of being told that their kitchen is closed Over an hour before they close. I don't understand why their hours are not consistent! Your hours say nine thirty and it's 8:20 and you can't order food!!! I just asked a whole bunch of hungry family members what they wanted and get up to the window and you're kitchen is freaking closed again! It's a friday night this is pathetic! I understand .Wanting to leave early, but it's b* and not fair to your customers if they can't order food. Because you decided you were gonna close your kitchen an hour early. Almost every time I come here this happens! I was told that you close it a 1/2 hour before the store closes. So I hurry up to get here And that's not the case, the case is if there's not a huge line of customers, you shut the grill down. I'm so sick of having to call my family members back and tell them sorry...
