Marco’s Pizza — Restaurant in Lansford

My friends and I are visiting different Pizza Shops every weekend to support local business and to find the ultimate pizza. We judge on three categories Crust, Sauce and cheese. This shop hit the mark on two of the three categories. Cheese and Crust were 5 out of 5 with the sauce stopping this pizza from scoring a perfect score although it was far from terrible with a strong showing of 4.1 out of 5.

We order a plain Neapolitan pizza at each shop so the baseline is the same for each shop we visit.

Crust was thin and well done but not burnt. Thin enough that you needed to fold to take the first bite. The edge crust was small and good enough to make sure you didn't leave it on the plate.

The amount of sauce was perfect considering the thinness of the crust and was proportional to the cheese. The sauce was some what bland and needed a lil of something to compliment the quality of crust and cheese.

Although the cheese scored high among the 6 who scored this visit there could have been another pinch or two for some who ate. The grease was noticeable but with another pinch or two of cheese could have increased the yummy cheese grease.

After enjoying the test pizza we decided to dig deeper into the menu. We ordered the Chicken Parmigiana Pizza, deep fried jalapeño poppers and garlic knots. The knots and poppers were good but the Chicken Parmigiana Pizza was amazing. If this shop had beer it would definitely be a spot to stop for a slice while out for a ride on...

In the last 23 years that I've been going to Marcos I've always had great hospitality great food great service never once had a complaint about Marco's Pizza even the other restaurant they own up in my city same always good quality food pizza hoagies fries couldn't ask for anything differently my son loves going to Marcos he said the only pizza place he wants to eat at is Marco's Pizza because he loves the hospitality from the workers the staff great food he's never been dissatisfied by the place he's always had a great time going there so if anybody really wants to go to Marco's I give it thumbs up five stars all the way I can beg a differ anyone that would never agree to that because Marcos has been around for a long time and they have always satisfied their customers and always attended to make sure everything went perfectly to make sure their customers...

I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. Our office ordered chicken scampi and pasta with the same scampi sauce for our office. The food is extremely bland, worst tasting food we've ever had delivered to the office. The chicken tastes like it was boiled and placed in the tin with water. The noodles are also bland, no flavor. The cannoli filling is sour and a huge chunk of plastic was in an employee's first bite of the cannoli. Called to voice our complaints and was told our staff was lying about the issues. She told us there's no way a piece of plastic was in the cannoli even though she admitted they buy their canolli filling from someone else. Also, she started speaking in Spanish so I could not understand what she was saying to someone else which was super rude. Run far away from this place unless you want to eat bland or spoiled food...
