China Palace 2 — Restaurant in Lansing

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I placed my order in person get home to start eatand my food is spicy. I called the restaurant to see if possibly they changed they recipes on certain things thinking maybe I messed up and ordered something they changed to spicy. I took my food back and the young kid behind the counter greeted me with my receipt in his hand I handed him my food and tell him that it's spicy. He proceeds to the back and grab some chopsticks and taste the food that I ate off of and smirks and tells me it's not spicy. I told him to try the egg rolls also so he can see that my food is spicy once again he tells me it's not spicy. He pulls his phone out and calls I'm guessing manager and starts yelling in his native language. An older gentleman comes out from the other room and greets me I explained to him what was going on while the younger guy was in the back yelling still. The young guy comes out from the back and tells me once again it's not spicy it's just black pepper. I told him people handle different levels of spice different you can say something is spicy not spicy but my taste says different. He proceeds to talk over me and handed me the phone he was speaking to once again I'm assuming the manager. I told the lady over the phone I want my money back I would've not had a problem with my food being remade if the guy at the counter wasn't being rude. The lady over the phone tried to explain to me that the food that I ordered is not spicy and I explained to her that everyone has different taste pallets. I also explained to her that I would've not had an issue with my food being remade if the young guy at the counter wasn't being rude to me. I explained to her that I am not in the restaurant yelling or screaming but he is I just simply wanted my money back. The lady called out to the young guy at the counter speaking in their native language along with the older gentleman who was at the front counter also. The young guy had an attitude slamming the drawer to get me my refund and had the nerve to pull out a calculator like he was going to doc me some of my money because I ate some of the food. The rude young guy didn't even hand me my money because he was too busy slamming stuff behind the counter. I've been eating at this place for years trust me I will NEVER GO BACK. Just off of the young guys attitude alone shows exactly what this place think of their customers because I respectfully told them my food was spicy. Teach that young boy some manners and proper...

Ordered 2 combination platters. Neither tasted right. The chicken broccoli smelled like fish, and the sesame chicken was over cooked and stringy almost . Called to complain. The cook said he tastes the food as he goes, and it was fine. He said that i was the only one to complain. So I went up there. At this point i just wanted my money back. They took the food out of the bag and said since we ate out of the food I couldn't have my money back. (We took about 5 bites out of each meal). They then continued to wait on other customers while I stood there. They ignored me for 10minutes. When another customer walked in, they acknowledged them, so i spoke up again. A different employee was standing in front of me now, and he looked to see what I had. I said I just wanted my money back. The young man that was arguing with me before came back up and said no money back for her. I was irate! I dropped both meals on the ground and said they will NEVER see me or my family in there again. I cant even give them one star! One of the worst restaurants we have ever ordered from. After repeating the order 3 times on the phone we still did not receive the correct food, the food we did receive was terrible, my husband had 2 pieces of stringy meat in his szechaun beef and about 2 whole onions, mine had no sauce and was cold. our daughters meal didn't even come with the order and after waiting a total of 2 hours we gave up and cancelled it.. this was after 5 phone calls and employees refusing to let us talk to a manager and told us no one was in charge at the store..We will NEVER order again, the food quality was poor, the employee service was offensive and unbelievable rude.
