The lapel bulldog — Restaurant in Lapel

Service was good, waitress was sweet.. The cook doesnt read the orders apparently. We both order BNG. Except my husband asked for a full order and received a half order.. Hash Browns were mushy no crisp to them at all. The BNG was ok but have tasted better at that location must have been with prior owners. I dont know if the cook is one of the owners if so recommend hiring a better cook. Sadly I wont be back for breakfast. The waitress was nice when I asked if Shelly still owned the place. She said no her mom & some other gentleman was owners. He was sitting with his back to us at . I'm a resident of lapel I'm a nest I come in this restaurant several times a week I just realize bias they are charging me a 50 cent fee to pick up my own food and a 62 cent service fee have no idea what that's for. Understand the economy's tough but these hidden fees didn't fees are unexcusable I will no longer purchase any items from this establishment and I will let everyone I know What they're doing. Is very disappointed. I love purchasing items from small business owners but not when they're trying to deceive me. If you are looking for a local, downhome diner, The Bulldog is the place to go. This place screams of small town diners and home cooked food. The staff and patrons are nothing but friendly and the food is nothing less than what your grandmother would cook on Sunday. The price is right and food is good. Just don’t be in a hurry.
