Donald's Family Dining — Restaurant in Lapwai

I took my grandkids to lunch today at the diner. When we walked in it was busy. That's fine. Every table was dirty. So we stood and waited patiently for a table. After we finially got seated it still took a long time to get waited on. We had to tell the waitress three times what we were drinking. Finially got our order in. Here comes the bad part. Our food sat in the window getting cold every time our waitress walked by it. I finally couldn't take it any longer. When she was cleaning tables and taking orders with our food sitting. Which she knew was there. That's the sad part. The other waitress finially brought it to us when I asked our waitress if she could please bring it. Of course it was cold. We just ate it. We knew the chances of getting it back would be slim to none. We get ready to check out. The credit card machine was not working. She ran my card. I said how do you know it didn't charge me. She showed me the machine and said your guess is as good as mine and walked off. Like she was disgusted. She finally comes back. Do you have cash. I said no. Well a check. I wrote it out left it and walked out. No tip for this waitress. The whole experience was terrible. Not going back. Going to...

Don't waste your time or money in this rude establishment that needs to learn a little customer service. Can't rate the food as we left due to not being greeted while fully aware we're standing there to be greeted and seated. When we were finally acknowledged by the unfriendly so called waitress we asked to be seated in an empty booth and we would wait for the one place setting to be cleared off, wouldn't do it and walked away from us. Needless to say at this point...

Don't get me wrong, i love this place but it's just that they aren't to great with serving fast. I went with a few of my friends for milkshakes and it took a major amount of time. Not only that they switched me and one of my friends milkshakes. i personally didn't mind i just didn't get what i wanted and that bummed me out. but over all it's a pretty great dinner for the small town. i also love their food and so does my family so every now and then...
