Subway — Restaurant in Laramie

I work with a local shutter service and sometimes finding a place very late at night to eat can be near impossible. However I am glad I stopped by this Subway, as I was pleasantly surprised it was open (though I could see the lit "Open" sign from I-80, so a good thing to look out for when driving on the highway). Now I've come to know Subway as having unfresh ingredients and was sort of expecting that from this one as well. However it's nice to know that the norm still has it's exceptions and this location was exactly that. Their ingredients looked edible and appetizing and it was nice to see that when I am so used to seeing the opposite.

The young lady who helped me was super kind and really friendly and that's always a plus. I've worked the service industry for most of my working career and I know how rough and tiring it can be so as long as the person helping me isn't outright being rude I am pretty understanding. However it was just nice that she was really helpful and even looked up the price for one of the paid additionals (i.e. Meat, Cheese and so on).

Next time I am in Lariamie I plan on going to this Subway if I am nearby. Great work on setting a better standard then most...

Filthiest Subway I ever been to. 7 tables unusable out of 9. It’s 1:17pm and we are only patrons. Soda area filthy with pop everywhere on the machine and table. Trash on the floor. The guy making sandwiches 4/2/24 with dark hair was curt. The customer before me and myself received replies like “WE DONT HAVE THAT, WE DONT OFFER THAT.” His face was expressionless and he waited for us to figure it out without his help. Very unfriendly. Poor service. They served 1 other customer while we ate. We left at 1:35 and the customer area was still a pigsty. No one was at the tables when we left.

Note to manager: a) Please train him better. b) I noticed the bread is narrower and the portions were reduced. You can tell corporate that...

Best Subway We've Had!

Stopped here on our way back to Colorado from Steamboat Springs and were blown away! My daughter and I each got a sandwich, cookies, and she grabbed a drink. As we were driving and eating, she paused and asked, “How’s yours?” I realized I’d been quietly enjoying it—it was honestly the best Subway sandwich I can remember having. Everything was fresh, perfectly made, and delicious.

She kept raving about how good her sandwich was too—and especially the lemonade. Not sure if they keep the drink machine cleaner than most, but whatever they’re doing, it’s working!

Bonus: the staff was super fast and efficient, which we really appreciated on a road trip.
