I remember stopping by this place once or twice as a kid, but you can say this was my first time here since. I know some die-hard fans of this local treasure may not like that I wasn't too impressed with their tacos, but I did really enjoy their menudo. My wines a la Mexicana with cachetada of frijoles was a bit skimpy as well as the barbacoa. Tortillas were not as fresh as I had read about in other reviews . Should have been a home run. Small little shop connected to a tire shop. Double burger with cheese, ham, bacon and avocado and a side fries for $9.00?!?!? And a whole jalapeño on the side.
