If you're patient, it is worth the wait if you're in the drive thru line. Just make sure your vehicle's AC works, so you'll keep your cool.
Their method of placing food orders via the speaker-phone (still) needs improvement. 1. The speaker-phone is not the best audible quality. Other times, you are not sure if they heard you buzz in or not. 2. One or two persons are taking drive-thru orders, while also taking inside counter orders. Plus, giving out the food ordered to both drive-thru and indoor dining customers.
The remedy: adopt a drive-thru system like Chick-fil-A (on Monarch Dr.) and most issues will be solved aside from: the area can only accommodate, so many cars/trucks/SUVs in the drive-thru line. Afterwards, the line spills out onto the street. Lastly, the food prep crew need to keep up with the volume of orders being placed. If not, more delays.
The reason they lost the 4th star rating I had posted earlier. The speaker-phone and lack of good quality control. (They need to double-check the order before handing it to the customer. On a previous order of a strawberry with mango raspa, the mangos were missing on my raspa. On my visit in early August 2018, they forgot to include the coke that goes with the 2 Mexican-elotes combo.) :-(
The raspas use natural fruit, (a sugary liquid), and crushed ice. I personally recommend the mango or strawberry raspa or combine both. The tamarindo flavor is a hit too. The Mexican-style prepared corn on the cob with a Mexican coke combo is a good, delicious, menu item also.
For some reason the other Los Pinguinos locations aren't as frequented as this particular one.

Read moreThe jalapeños tasted really bad like if they were old. They don’t give you any napkins and if you ask for more, they will get upset and they will only give you one even though you order like 10 items. The Raspas do not have any juice in them and again they will get upset if you ask for more juice and they will just tell you that that is the way they make them. The tortas are absolutely disgusting. The ham smells really bad. The elotes are very hard and hardly have any cheese in them. All of this comes from the lady with the ugly short and long haircut. She is extremely rude towards her employees as well as to the customers. She was yelling at customers through the drive-through because she could not hear them, and someone made a mistake at the kitchen , and she was just telling them to give the orders as is not to check them. I asked For a raspa to go and from the kitchen came out a man to give me the Raspa and the rude lady was screaming at him telling him to get back to the kitchen that he is not supposed to get out. I got to the counter and told her I was there for the raspa and she ignored me twice and said they have a lot of people and that they don’t have time for that. She then went back to the kitchen with Them. I stood by the door and she was talking bad about me. She took long to come back and another employee had to come back with it. Then she threatened to call the police on me because I was by the kitchen door waiting for her to come out. Overall, a very bad experience there and all of the employees seem to be very afraid of the lady. Will never...

I left as well no way i’m giving them my money. It’s literally like he hated his job so bad, poor dude and i’ve never left a bad review in my life so trust me don’t...
