Remolinos Restaurante — Restaurant in Laredo

This was our first time trying this place and unfortunately, the last. We thought that the raspas would taste as great as Los pingüinos or snow pinguin but we were very disappointed. My strawberry raspa's ice cream and strawberries tasted strange. The lime raspa, yuck, did not taste like lime at all. Afterwards, we ended up throwing them away. Also, we asked for tostitos preparados. I couldn't believe they put mayo in it and a Daisy Sour Cream to go. Really? OMG 😲. I am definetly getting my snacks at La Unica which is closer to me. And if we want raspas,we will continue to get Bahamas Bucks or when I can, I will go to...

The mango in my mangonada I ordered was not ripe. The texture was similar to that of half-cooked steamed potatoes. Potentially it might’ve been just this visit? I’m from out of town, so I crave snacks like these when I visit and unfortunately I did not satisfy this craving on this visit! :c
