Sam’s Market — Restaurant in Larkfield-Wikiup

This store was once a treasure... good customer service and quality people. unfortunately things have changed ... this store once valued regulars but since it went to Sam's it has gone down hill to the point i am changing a 5 star review to a 1 star .... today i spent $146.48 (4 sandwiches a gallon of milk and 12 packs of cigarettes... they were apparently running low on sandwich fixings... all of the sandwiches had almost no meat on them (turkey and salami, with sprouts, cheese, onion, pickle, ect... with 3 slices of salami and 1 slice of turkey, there was less than a sprinkle of sprouts and no pickle... ) after i got it home found out what they were trying to call value for money, i drove back and was treated like my money and i were nothing but a cash cow... when i wanted to inform the owner of the issues to have them fixed ... ether a refund or to make it correct he had no time for me .... i was told he had to deal with the line that he had well 5 ppl were standing around. than when i confronted him about the sprouts his employee with a big mouth piped up that they were out of sprouts. something you should tell the customer before they pay for there item. when i brought that up i was told "it's only $0.50" this is a unacceptable response to a customer.

TLDR: they will steal your money and not even show a little remorse for...

Not once, twice but three times after finally asking for receipt and looking at their prices. They either “over price” or they’re just simply lazy to update their price tags on their fridges. I kindly asked to speak to whoever was in charge and the gentleman’s response was that they ask him to update the pricing on their system but they don’t ask him to update their price tags. Because “that makes so much sense”. No matter if it’s $1 or $2, over charging your customer is unethical. If you’re the owner and you’re reading this, I hope you do something about this. Correct your behavior(s) / mistake(s) and be honest to your customers. That’s what most business owners do, get comfortable, too comfortable that they just don’t care. What goes up must come down!...

I've been buying sandwiches there for a long time they have a sandwich card buy 12 get to 13th free which I've done three times all three times the sandwiches that were for free we're not even half of the amount of condiments that the regular sandwich comes with I was very disappointed and do not plan on buying sandwiches there again it's a total rip off as far as buy 12 get one free. I'm going to add a picture so anybody who's ever bought sandwiches there could realize how much they're being duped. Talk about a cheap establishment. Money is the root of all evil one day...
