Surprised at how terrible the food was today all of it. From the tasteless, watery hot and sour soup which was neither hot nor sour - just like dishwater to the tasteless scraps of pan-drippings that were disguised as Manchurian beef (instead of nice big fried beef chunks in pungent sauce), to the horse-munchable sized sliced cabbage with no dressing which was the sorry excuse for the salad, to the ice cold almost burnt wonton skins, even to the tea. The teapot that was so full that the first two cups of tea being poured poured out of the covered lid all over the table. And beyond that I can hear somebody coughing mercilessly in the kitchen great it's the waitress I hope I don't get sick the service...
Read moreThis place is wonderful! The service is quick yet still very considerate and kind; the food comes out piping hot because it is freshly made to order--even the lunch specials. The food is the most similar to San Francisco Chinese restuarants than other Marin Chinese restaurants(the menu doesn't have every option that larger venues might have, but this also helps them to provide fast and consistent service). The seating is very comfortable, and there is also a nice back patio for outdoor dining. The owners are almost always working there as well, so food and service standards are always consistent. Read moreWhat a terrible experience. (12/6/2019). We arrived at ordered before 5pm and didn’t get out until nearly 6:30. We only ordered 5 items and with tax should have been $61. The bill arrived at $73 and I was so tired of waiting I didn’t dispute. I still tipped but we won’t be back. The really frustrating thing was that they served other tables before us even though we arrived and ordered first.
