I was handed the most lopsided ice cream cone I had ever seen. I looked at it worryingly (at which point the employee should have apologized and at least offered me a napkin--I didn't even get one wrapped around the cup) but thought, "ok, maybe I can make this work" and walked away. Before I got to my car (not 30 feet away) it was nearly horizontal, so I went back to the window to ask for a napkin. I quickly realized a napkin was not going to stop the impending melt fiesta so I went back and asked for the manager. Instead of asking me what I wanted or needed, he immediately raised his voice and said, "the thing is, she just started, ok? So what you should do is come and ask for a cup if that's what you want."
