Las Brisas Mexican Restaurant

I am only leaving two stars because usually the service here is good and my food is prepared correctly. We made a phone order to be picked up tonight and my husband had ordered me a carne asada burrito and had specified that he wanted beans, shredded cheese, guacamole, and sour cream inside the burrito. He picked the order up to find that it was simply a meat filled tortilla with melted cheese on top and beans next to it. I called and spoke with the manager about what we needed to do to rectify the situation. My husband drove back down to have it fixed and specified to the manager that everything was to be in the burrito like I had done on the phone. Well he just brought me the burrito that was supposedly fixed and I opened it to find that the beans made it to the inside of the burrito and the cheese, guacamole, and sour cream was smothered on top of it 🤦‍♀️ When I called to talk to the manager about this he insinuated that my husband only said to put the beans on the inside when my husband had said everything on the inside. I came here today for a late lunch while waiting on a oil change next door and was told by my Pops that the dinner service was horrible so I said I will try them for lunch. The service and atmosphere was 10/10 the the salsa is just like any other Mexican place and the chips the cheese dip was the best part of course who doesn’t like cheese dip. I ordered the lunch taco salad with ground beef add pico, I just wanna know why I got a taco salad with the salad on the side. I love my toppings on top of the lettuce so it’s got that soft then crunchy layers. It did not make sense to why they couldn’t just remove the toppings put the lettuce down and add them back. Also the lettuce when I picked it up was sitting in a pool of water. I needed up just mixing everything together. The taste was over all decent but the presentation and delivery could have been handled better. I eat with my eyes first and I always come back to places that meet both...

I just called and tried to place a to go order, someone picked up the phone and said "Pizza Hut". I was confused and heard the music from the restaurant, I said "I thought this was Las Brisas". He said "Oh, okay" then hung up on me. After confirming that I had called the right number, my friend called back from another number. This time the same guy answered the phone as "Hang on a minute" then a few seconds later said "Hello". I love Las Brisas and with there being another Mexican place in town I would think that they would want professional employees to retain customers. We decided not to order there tonight. I hope to have better treatment...
