ALL DRIVERS SHOULD REFUSE TO DELIVER TO THIS PLACE!!!! This place shouldn't even receive one star. Awful is an understatement. My driver showed up 42minutes before his Noon appointment on Friday 9/24 only to have Mickey tell him she would not offload him until the following Monday and said she didn't care that he had a noon appointment. Mickey is beyond rude & less than professional in every manner. We were one of 3 loads that Friday (hauling for Landstar, Anchor Glass out of Elmira Heights, NY) that Mickey refused to offload. We demanded to speak to a supervisor with no luck. Reached out to the broker so they could directly deal with their customer only to find that their customer was telling them that they would promptly offload us while Mickey was still telling us that she would not. Around 5pm my driver told Mickey the broker reached out and was told we would be offloaded. Mickey said "I could care less what you were told, Suzie Publinski said I don't have to, You will wait until Monday". At that point, one of the other drivers left, leaving me (noon appointment) and the other driver (9am appointment) still waiting for a resolution. Around 730pm (after finding out the other driver had left) Mickey said there was a possibility that we may be offloaded before Monday. My driver decided he would wait until shift change in hopes that the next shift would help us. Around 1130pm my driver goes back inside (on site 12hrs at this point) and asks the 3rd shift receiving coordinator if there's any way they can help us out. 3rd shift sticks by what Mickey said and says "nope, if she said Monday that's when we'll get to ya". My driver finally expressed his disappointment in the lack of the company's professionalism and said " Three of us, all from the same shipper, have been getting jacked around here all day. The other driver finally left, me and the 9am delivery appointment are still here, I guess I will just leave too". Once the coordinator realized the other driver left and we were leaving too, he said he would offload us. We were finally offloaded and released from here 15 hours after our appointment, we lost the load we were scheduled to pick @8pm and now they aren't responding to our detention request. Maybe, IF ALL DRIVERS REFUSE TO DELIVER HERE, the facility will do something about MICKEY, her lack of professionalism, and inconsistencies in running an effective receiving department. I arrived at 0725 am for my 10 am pickup and was immediately assigned a door. An hour and ten minutes later, I was loaded and gone. The guy I checked in with was a cool and very friendly. I understand that some people aren't happy no matter what, but a lot of times it's the way you approach someone that depends on how they interact with you. A lot of people that work at the places that we go are tired of rude, impatient truck drivers, so I can understand if some of them are grumpy. I've never delivered here, but I will say this. Buisnesses are struggling to find workers. Only so much can be done when they are short on staff. There are a couple of reviews here that others have posted that I HAVE to comment on. First is the commenters playing the race card, they must be new to trucking. It doesn't matter what race you are, if you show up on time for your pickup and the product isn't ready, you are going to have to wait. The product for the driver that comes in after you may be ready, so they load his or her load and send the driver on their way. Race has nothing to do with it, it's part of trucking. I'm not sure what some of these drivers are using to navigate their truck, but my Garmin GPS for trucks sent me right to the front door. No hopping curbs or narrow roads with no place to turn around. I bet these drivers use Google Maps, which isn't made for trucks. If you are using it for navigating a semi, you deserve to be hopping curbs or ending up on a narrow road with nowhere to turn around. I came to this place for delivery what they do the sent you to another building 32 miles away with trucking road 45 min far, I went there in my appointment time that place is the most dirty place the most garbage company, the mot racist people in USA standing outdide drinking pepsi smoking cigarettes and not working you see outside to many trucks standing there all the day just for delivery the load that can take 15-20 min. I went in their office and told them why I don’t have a door not yet because has been 4 hour from my appointment they said we have other trucks befor you so I spent there all my day till night for doing a delivery. When I booked this load broker told me that one of the drivers for my company has shown bad attitude with receiving people now I understand why.
