John O's Restaurant — Restaurant in Lawrence Township

First time here and most sadlylikely the last. After spending over 2 hours waiting for our food, it took an hour just to order our food and it was not busy. The bartender came out and took our drink order and appetizer order and we waited a good hour just for that. Another waitress took the table next to us and they ordered, ate and left before we got our food. Our waitress was actually the manager and she delivered VERY POOR service. She had to be told that we didn’t get waited on before coming to our table. Then she gave us more food than we ordered and tried charging us for it. There were 2 other parties that also decided to leave before ordering their food because it was taking so long. Our food also came out cold. Honestly wish we had just stayed back and cooked our own dinner because our kids missed out on activities because so much time was spend waiting on food. Sadly this was the worst part...

The food is pretty decent. The service is average. (Unless you are at the bar, it’s good) the shot specials are really really bad. So avoid those. Beer prices are super cheap.

Update to my review: 2023 the service is as bad as it gets now. Don't even bother with breakfast. The food will be wrong and it will take 80 mins for the wrong food to arrive. Everything is just awful. And the prices are no longer cheap. I'm not sure who to blame but nobody seems to have a clue what they are doing.
