McDonald's — Restaurant in Lawrence Township

05-22-24 I went through the drive-thru. I didn't have to wait long for the person to take my order, but I had to Wait in line for upwards to 10 minutes before getting to the first window to pay. I ordered the Crispy Deluxe meal (4C), large, with a Coke zero light ice and two McDoubles. I finally got to the first window to pay, did employees at McDonald's forget how to greet people? Or how to smile? Or just general basic customer service? Anyway, they took my money. I get to the second window. I was handed my drink and bag of food. I need to get back on the road because I'm traveling. First thing everyone does is reach their hand into the bag and grab some French fries. I barely pulled away from the second window, I wasn't even out of the parking lot yet when I reached down to get some fries, expected hot crispy oily salted goodness, especially considering how long we had to wait. What I got instead was soft warmish potatoes that were obviously in the warmer hopper past the timer limit. I had to get back on the road, I didn't have time to go in and request fresh French fries. Disappointed, I jammed the straw into the cup looking forward to that thirst quenching taste of Coke, when I was shocked to get a mouth full of Dr. Pepper. Not a fan of Dr. Pepper. Never have been. There was no mistaking it either. I drink Coke (and Coke Zero, mostly now) pretty regularly so there's no mistaking the flavors. Ok, let's dig into the sandwiches. Mind you, I'm traveling, I'm hungry, I'm not waiting to eat. This is within a minute or two of leaving the drive-thru. The chicken sandwich: all the ingredients were there, but the chicken was cold. The McDoubles were the "freshest" things in that back. But I'm willing to bet that those 10:1 beef patties were also past their time expiration. Overall disappointed. No rush to return. Ok so I get that sometimes places get busy and your wait time is longer even for them to come to the speaker and take your order however I do not think it’s ok when every single time you go here it takes atleast 15 mins for someone to even ask you what you want in the drive thru literally sat there going on five times in a row and had to wait that long just for someone to take my order and it was an online order then your get to the first window no one is there and takes another 5mins while you wait for whoever to come to the window!!!! Then you get to the second one to grab your food and sit there about at the shortest 20 minutes to get your food and I would say 75% of the time it’s wrong or missing something or they give you Coke Zero not regular coke like you ordered! Then when you come back around and say something about whatever is missing or wrong they get so rude with you like your the reason they messed up your order and then again you wait for a ridiculous amount of time for someone to get whatever th u forgot of your order and you don’t get a sorry about that or sorry about your wait nothing they just hand tilt a bad and walk away all pissed off because you came back to get what you paid for that they didn’t put in the bag it’s just crazy to me and I wouldn’t make a review if it was once or twice but it’s literally no exaggeration every single time I stop here whether I’m just getting a coke or a whole food meal it literally takes forever and the staff are so rude and if you ask anything for fresh fry’s because if you don’t there cold they get so annoyed and start being rude for no reason this McDonalds needs some serious turn around because if not no one will come there anymore we have two options and I know from now on...

I told myself I wasn’t going to ever come to this location again, but I ordered by the app today and thought I would give them another chance. NOPE never coming back and I would highly recommend making the short drive to the location right off I80. I ordered on the app and arrived 7min or so later, there was no line and not that many cars in the parking lot, waited roughly 8min in total when I was the first car in line, then they asked me to pull up and the guy that brought my bag out went right to the other side of the parking lot and realized the bag he had wasn’t the other folks waiting but decided to have a conversation with one of them before I shouted “hey is that a Big Mac and fries?” I opened the bag as soon as he handed it to me and fries were old and soggy, for as long as I waited I was hoping to have piping hot fries like they should be, so hot and fresh it’s a health hazard to eat one right away. The Big Mac however was as it should be. But this location has a habit of the worst McDonald’s food and service I have ever had. Don’t waste your time or money at this location.
