Old Town Road Dairy — Restaurant in Lawrence Township

Been here many times, but never actually ate any thing other than the ice cream. Their shakes are delicious and a few of the flavors can be gotten in malt. I usually get the things that are like a blizzard or flurry. Can't remember what they call theirs though. I call them gone because they are so dang good their gone in a flash. Many flavors to choose from. I believe they even have hand dip ice cream cones. Pretty sure waffle cones. The atmosphere is awesome if you love that old 50's dinner look. The artwork on the walls is phenomenal, kinda takes you back in time. There's a walk in service or order from outside at the window. They don't have rollerskate service. But if you feel like joking with them a bit tell one of the girls that an auto mechanic thinks that either Ann or Andie needs to get there skates out of the closet and start doing that on the weekends. But like I said I haven't ate their hot foods, but it always smells good in there. And I know Ann to be a good cook and cooked many places through out her life time. Special on Friday night in June 2022 was burger and fries for under $7 with a juicy patty made fresh! Got pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, and onion as toppings on an ample sized roll. Where can you get such a great burger and fries cheaper than boring old MickyDees??? Go here!!! Also got hand- breaded haddock with fries and coleslaw for only $9.99. It really was flavorful and nicely cooked. That fish dinner came with a fresh Parker House roll. Yum! The tartar sauce had just a touch of Old Bay seasoning so it tasted like fries at the beach when dipping. Delicious overall. Service at table was great. They were steady busy the entire time. Lots come in just for ice cream or other treats. There's local historical and fun memorabilia as decor. Has that local, hometown, talk to those near your table feel to it. ...

The food was great and the prices were very reasonable. The service was exceptional! Our waitress was pleasant, patiently answered questions, and when we apologized for our lengthy stay, she was very polite about it. The chicken was very good. It was lightly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The fries with gravy were good as well but the brown gravy was the star of the dish.
