Terrible service and a very rude owner. We ordered drinks when we arrived but it took half an hour before they brought them to us and then they finally took our food order which took an hour... one of the burgers we ordered came out wrong so we finally complained, enough was enough. She said she would get the owner. The owner approached us with a big attitude. She was rude and totally disrespected us as customers. She attacked with a statement "can't you see we are busy?" Honestly I watched our waitress and other waitresses just hanging out, I even waved at our waitress and she turned her head as if she didn't see me. We seen nobody eating food for half an hour in the bar before our food came out and even the table behind us approached us asking how long we waited and told us they waited an hour and a half and still hadn't been served. So instead of the owner being sorry and accommodating she walked away from us with an attitude mumbling something. She could care less about our complaint. We also read the reviews on the Toasted Monkee before we went and noticed one review complaining basically about the same issue we had. The owner fired back and said her first question is "why didn't you talk to the owner instead of bashing us online?" Well we did complain to the owner and look what it got us... some of the local customers told us we should've went to Dennys Beer Barrel Pub just down the road. We are just passing through town so we had no idea where to go for good food. So if you're looking for a better experience than what we and others have had, go to Denny's and try them out instead. If the owner wasn't rude and walked from us, I would never leave a negative review. Don't doubt the others negative reviews either about this place. First time visiting this place and it has become my new favorite!! The food is amazing!! We ordered the monkey burger to share and they cut it in half for us and served it in separate baskets without us even asking, which I thought was really nice! Most places wont do that!! The burger was the best I've had! There was so much flavor and I love the uniqueness of it!! We also ordered 2 different wing flavors, the monkey sauce and the dumpster and they were both amazing and bursting with flavor!! They have so many different flavors to choose from. This place has always been amazing. However, they just started their new menu and I cannot get enough. The Buffalo Chicken Dip Bread Bowl and Pulled Pork Pizza are two of my favorites. It is always so hard to decide. They keep atleast one interesting beer on tap and they have a large selection of bottled beer as well. If you are going for a mix drink, go for the Big Ass Orange Crush...you will not be disappointed! Lunch and dinner times are family friendly.
