The first couple times i went to this place I absolutely loved. The customer service was good even though they do rush you when u get to the front. After a couple months i dont know what happened but the service is terrible. We stopped going to the lawrence location bc the serving portions were inconsistent. They barely give a scoop of meat but if u ask for a little bit more they're quick to charge double when what i rlly wanted was the right amount of one portion. I've gone plenty of times and know who the staff is. Today i went and asked for a little bit more rice bc the dude literally gave one grain. I've seen him a lot of times and when he does my burritos they come out small and thin. Like im not even joking it is not worth 7 dollars when this guy makes it. He wears a backwards hat and he's thin and scrawny. He goes and tells the cashier to charge us for extra rice then runs away to the back. Turns out this idiot is the manager/boss no wonder he's so rude. Every time there's a problem when he's taking our order. I've been to the lowell location and they are incredibly nice and accommodating. The restaurant itself has a better vibe and is way cleaner and bigger. I dont know who owns all the locations but they need to inspect the Lawrence one more often and switch out the entire staff. I've only ever worked customer service myself and even in the food industry too so I'm usually very patient and understanding with staff but enough is enough. There has been two separate instances where I ordered plate- rice, beans and chicken and they barely gave any food- but charged me 10 dollars for the plate. How can I enjoy food if they barely give any????? The first time, they gave me ONE SMALL spoon of beans. Literally ONE SPOON. That’s it. After ONE bite: the beans were GONE. That is not a SERVING OF BEANS. That is a SAMPLE. But they’re charging me full price. Today was the second time. Same thing. Except this time, they didn’t give me any rice. I asked for tacos and they said they didn’t have any but I heard that they sold 3 to the person in front of me in line . That’s not fair that they pick and choose who to sell what too . He gave me a poor excuse saying the grill had been closed already but that doesn’t make sense ?? Why would you clean the grill before the restaurant is closed , that’s not good business. Also I ordered nachos for someone else and I wasn’t sure if they wanted beans or not . The guy making the food got impatient. Threw the spoon he was using , took off his gloves and walked away from me . He went to the back . That’s very unprofessional and rude .
