This used to be my go to Chinese food here in Lawton. However since the pandemic hit, the food quality has been lacking. Everything tastes as if they now only buy lower quality food. Then the restaurant decided to have an upcharge on meat. I understand the upcharge for pandemic reasons, however I believe that if you're going to upcharge the prices then you should put more meat into the containers! I ordered my go to: shrimp with garlic sauce and fried rice. There was literally only 5 shrimp throughout the entire container! For $10 shrimp should be throughout. I love veggies, but it's unfortunate to have to dig through the mountains of veggies only find 5 shrimp. I don't know if they are trying to make you think you got more food for the price by putting an extreme amount of vegetables in the containers, but it's unfortunate because I remember ordering Shrimp with garlic sauce; not a vegetable meadley. I only go here when I'm desperate for Chinese food. Instead, I rather just go to Walmart and buy the frozen stuff since I know I'm getting what I...
Read moreWhen they got my order wrong, they fixed it, they was NEVER rude. In the store, the Same 2 people who normally take my order ALWAYS had a ither a get the work done type attituted or a Nice attitued (Expecially the male). I don't know why people are bashing this resturant, but I have noticed that there have been a few RUDE CUSTOMERS that would come in with the Mindframe of being nasty and do just that.. Which might be the reason why they're getting rude costomer service. I got out the military awhile ago and now work in food service. I have NEVER delt with so many rude and nasty customers like i have in Lawton. Anything to get a free meal. But in My opinion, I like this place, been eating here ever since I got based in fort sill and will continue until I move back home. For those who have negitive comments to say, How about you put an application in and show them how to do the job. It's not like they only hire Asians. Maybe then you'd be suprised how rude some customers can be.....
Read moreTucked into a small-ish shopping center, Hot Wok has a friendly staff, diverse menu and a fair price, I always get the large pork fried rice (enough to feed 4 people) coming to a total of less than 10 dollars. Small dining area, very comfortable with a touch of decor, The menu has about 20 different items from fried rice, fried or steamed dumplings, sweet and sour chicken, and many, many more, all at an affordable price! Each time I've went in I've never waited for more than 10 mins for my food to come out, not because of lack of business but because of the skill craft the employees exhibit, they know their menu and how to cook it, I've never been disappointed. If your looking for local Chinese food in the area I definitely recommend stopping by and...
