Wright Donuts #2 — Restaurant in Lawton

I don’t like to post negative reviews if I can help it, but I have to say my recent trip to this particular Wrights Donuts will be my last. The location from what I understand is under new management and the price has gone way up from before. I ordered a dozen doughnuts (I ate one of the chocolates) and what you see in the picture costed me $19!!! 😳 I understand that if you get specialty donuts in a dozen it’s a little more, but the price I paid for what you see here is ridiculous! The glaze/icing ratio to donut was way off. There wasn’t enough glaze & icing on the donuts.

Also, I noticed when I was being rung up that the lady was just typing in numbers as if she was guessing and typing them in at random. I called the other Wrights store and was informed that my dozen donut's shouldn’t have cost that much. Going forward, I will be taking my business to ShipleyDo-Nut, and on occasion the Wrights on W. Gore BLVD. At least with Shipley’s if I’m going to pay close to $20 for donuts, I’ll get 💰 worth, plus reward points.

I order from this place every month, and it's become my designated cheat day treat! Since I'm usually at work when I crave croissants or donuts for lunch, I rely on their delivery service. This #2 location has consistently provided wonderful experiences. Their bacon, egg & cheese croissants, sausage & cheese kalaches, and donuts are always fresh and moist without being overly sweet. I'm also a huge fan of their iced coffee - it's delicious and in my opinion, even better than Starbucks because it's less sweet while still packing a strong flavor. If you haven't tried their coffee or donuts yet, you're definitely missing out!

I particularly appreciate the occasional handwritten note. It truly demonstrates their appreciation for loyal customers. This is definitely a must-visit local spot for donuts.
