El Tacazo Mexican Delights — Restaurant in Le Center

The parking situation leaves much to be desired but that can all be forgiving for the restaurants nicely put together environment. Posters and paintings of Mexican subjects and traditions such as a poster identifying the hottest peppers and their respective levels of "hotness" . Friendly staff with a well varied menu that features dishes from all types of mexican delicacies including some american dishes like burgers and fries. It could really use a menu book though instead of the just order of the items of the wall bit. Specially since some dishes you don't know what they are or the ingredients that go into them. Still, the food is delicious if you know what you're ordering. Overall a town favorite for Mexican food. Probably because it's the only one in town but nevertheless...

Food usually is really good. But today I sat inside and my rice was cold didn’t listen to my order properly flirted with my s/o in front of me. Then just was super snarky my experience 2nd time sitting inside was just terrible. I asked for no onions on both of our food items and she did it anyways. Usually the owner and her daughter make our food and it’s always amazing but today the new person just not a good experience for me and my fiance are no longer going back. I’m just super upset with the simple fact she flirted with him while I was present and then asked if it was separate when she knew it was together. I know hostility when I see it. Lastly, idk who the head person is in charge but I would just love a conversation to see if I’ll potentially...

Just ate lunch here and it was terrific. Had two tacos and a sope, all with asada. Meat was tasty and not greasy, with generous portions. Tacos came with diced onions, cilantro, and double corn tortillas, with a small cup of salsa on the side. The tortillas were warm and soft, tasted good, and didn't tear under the considerable filling. Both mild and hot salsas were fresh-tasting and smooth. They were out of a couple menu items like al pastor style meat, but to me what I got made up for that.

My friend got a torta with lengua and said it was excellent. I did try a piece of the meat and it was very good. Tender and moist with strong beef flavor. I'm taking a pair of asada tortas home...
