This is the most upsetting visit I have ever had at a Boba Shop. I drove out of my way because I was wanting a good Green Tea with a bit of flavor. I arrived and everything was clean and the cashier was very friendly, tried very hard but was remarkably incompetent and I ended up leaving with no drink.
I wanted a Green Tea with Raspberry at 25% sweetness (since you cannot do 0% with a flavor).
She did not understand to add no sweetener to the Green Tea, and she kept wanted to put 50% sugar on the label which I kept saying no, but she was trying to do math about what the sugar content would be.
Then, when the drink was being made she came over and told me it would be 75% sweetness because the Raspberry - still not making sense…
I said, then please just give me a plain Green Tea. She said okay, then made it with Raspberry anyway. I gave up, I was very polite but I just said, that’s fine, keep the drink please - I can’t drink it. Have a great day.
I don’t understand why this was such an issue. Any other place - a flavored tea such as Raspberry has maybe 4 pumps of Raspberry Syrup.
If you ask for 25% sugar, they give you 1 pump of the sweetened syrup instead of 4 pumps and BAM you’re at 25% sweetness.
This employee seemed to think it was not possible to put any less Raspberry in and just kept telling me it would be 50% sugar and then changed her mind and decided it was 75% sugar …. Based on the regular about of flavor.
I don’t understand what the issue was with making it with just 25% sweetness - i.e. less pumps.
The guys working seemed to have a better grasp of what needed to happen but she then told them to let her handle it.
I would really like a refund, I paid for my drink, I tipped, I asked to go ahead and make it plain (BEFORE it was prepared)… I was told okay and still got a full sugar Raspberry Green Tea.
It was incredibly, insanely frustrating. I am ranting here but in the store I was polite, friendly and didn’t get upset with anyone. I did just give up and leave - I never ever touched the beverage that was prepared - like I didn’t even take it from behind the counter.
Very upsetting to just throw $7...
Read moreI’ve ordered from this location four times (twice through Uber Eats and twice in person). On 9/13 around 7:15 pm, I visited with my wife to get boba and was assisted by a young man of medium build. I ordered two coconut smoothies with tapioca. While preparing the drinks, he mentioned that there was only enough tapioca for one smoothie. Since the tapioca is the best part of the drink, I asked to cancel one of the smoothies. He told me that wasn’t possible but offered to substitute something else in place of the tapioca. In the end, he said he would try to process a refund for one of the drinks, but the encounter felt unprofessional and reflected poorly on the business.
I also find it hard to believe that the establishment would run out of tapioca on a Saturday evening. It seemed more likely that he simply did not want to prepare more, which added to the...
Read moreMy husband got a free iced coffee from them as part of an opening promotion on weekdays on his way to work. So he took me there on this weekend since it’s located so close from where we live.
I was thrilled to find this place—something different from the usual Starbucks—where you can enjoy a variety of appealing drinks, from milk teas to Asian snacks that you can't find at a regular market and ice cream that carries all my favorite flavors.
The prices are reasonable, and the place is spacious with a great vibe. They even have an area to play games, both on TV and board games.
The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and I felt very welcomed as soon as we walked in.
I’m so happy we found a spot within walking distance where we can stop by during a walk or...
