This is the first place I want to stop when I’m in town, I had my family with me from Phoenix when I came to town to lay my Mother to rest and all my family talk about this gem at least once a month about how we can’t wait to come back and get the some of the most amazing food in the south, and that’s saying a lot since my aunt and uncle live less than two miles from this place and I could easily go there and totally be hooked up lol.. The Food ... Absolutely the definition of Solid Southern Holesome Goodness. The chicken is fried perfection, almost light. The greens the beans, the peach cobbler,all cooked right.The smothered pork chops are a food so sultry these days that you have to eat them slowly to allow your brain to catch up. I do not ever leave reviews, but this restaurant was so good I had to! Headed to the off-road park, and we got hungry driving in from Hattiesburg. We didn’t know we where getting a 5 star 4 course meal that rivals most grandmothers thanksgiving meals! Everything, and I mean everything was perfect and delicious! The staff is so sweet, and attentive, the sweet tea is to die for and they kept the cups full! Highly recommend and will be a place to stop every time we are here...
