I stopped in for a sweet treat on the Rainbow Falls tour and found a nice selection of pastries. The bakery was busy, and I ordered a cinnamon roll. a Blueberry scone, and a piece of kuchen (shortbread) with mixed berries and cream cheese. You will find cookies, muffins, cupcakes, danishes, pie, quiche, savor croissants. and much more. The cinnamon roll was big and not really sweet with a nice taste to it. The blueberry scone had a nice flavor to it. The lunch menu has soup, sandwiches, salads, daily lunch specials, cold drinks, expresso, and ice cream. Located about two miles from the ferry landing with a shuttle bus, or you walk or rent a bike to the bakery, which is open seasonally. A nice place to stop for a bite to eat with cabins to rent, a gift shop, friendly service, and a wide selection of pastries.

This bakery is the best in every way! The food is absolutely fabulous! My niece and I only stayed 2 nights in Stehekin, but we loaded up on goodies to take home. The quiche was wonderful and ginger cookies. My niece loves scones! Cinnamon rolls oh my gosh were huge and so fresh. It was lovely to sit outside among beautiful flower beds. We also bought sandwiches for dinner and more quiche for our breakfast the next morning.

Nice little historic bakery on the island. They have vegan options too! I loved their vegan brownie and blueberry bar. For lunch we had a slice of pizza & noodle salad with a tasty peanut dressing. The lunches were cold since we went during closing time. It would be great if it were warm. We had ice cream for dessert. It was fresh and delicious 😋

I think this is one of the best things going for this small town. Every meal we had here was fantastic and very filling. Breakfast is clearly one of their best meals. Tons of pastries and delicious quiche and cinnamon rolls. They’re sweets are also excellent. We had several ham And cheese croissant sandwiches as well as salads. All were very good too excellent. We would come back here in a heartbeat. The staff are courteous and helpful and attentive. You order at the counter for most items. They either give it to you and then you reheat it in a microwave if needed. Some are prepared fresh in front of you. This is a very popular stop for the tour buses. If you get there before 9 AM, there is not much of a crowd, just the locals and people staying there. After 9 AM the ferries arrive and the buses will start arriving. There is a natural ebb and flow With the fairies and buses. It can get quite busy when everyone arrives at once. Recommend getting there early, or waiting a little bit for the buses to leave for lunch or an early dinner. Biking is the best way...

My honest advice is go to the bakery early on your trip and then visit often. it is impossible to not give this bakery 5 stars. Even in a busy metropolis this bakery would stack up well but considering this bakery is situated in what feels like the edge of the world the flour, butter, and yeast are masterfully pared with savory and sweat flavors. The bakery is one of the few options for food in Stehikin so this place could have just served “calories” and we would have had to eat here but the instead they produce a cornucopia of great rustic eats. Pastries, sandwiches, soups espresso drinks and ice cream deliver flavors and options...
