This place was an unexpected gem. I was traveling through Kentucky on my way to Florida and my Airbnb host recommended this place for dinner. Expected basic rural bar food... But this is definitely elevated bar food! I enjoyed an old fashioned while waiting for my burger and fries take out. One of the better old-fashioneds I have had in a long time. My bartender was actually one of the owners and I really enjoyed chatting with her. For me, it's always a special bonus to support a women-owned business. Highly recommend!

Everything here was 5 stars. We got there early, so no wait for a table, and the service was quick! We had to try the Higher Than Hell Nachos, which were fabulous!! There was enough nachos cramed in the can to feed 2 people easily! I also opted to get the Queso Burger with bacon it was messy, but soo good!

Backroad Burger is the best burger in a 50 mile radius! Arguments for the best burgers I’ve had in the state of Kentucky! The restaurant was clean and service quick and friendly. Shout out to our server Cloe B! She’s the best!!!! Whoever the bartenders are sure know how to make a good drink as well!

Came to town and rented an Airbnb half a mile away. This is the only bar/restaurant in town, but it completely rips.

The food is amazing. You have to try the Higher Than Hell Nachos. House made potato chips covered in glory. The nachos are like an angel crying in your mouth.

Also tried their wings and fries. Both were incredible. They have a variety of sauces and we got half Asian and half Buffalo. They nailed the crispy wings that were juicy on the inside 👌

Drinks are very reasonably priced, as is the food. If this place were in a major city they’d easily hold their own, and get talked about.

The owners are total sweethearts, too. Raywick should be proud to have such a wonderful restaurant/bar. No need to trek to Bardstown or Lebanon with this gem in the area.

Support these folks. ...

It was my first time going, and Angie, who is my cousin and the owner, is and always has been an amazing cook. It was so delicious, I had the Queso burger and waffle fries, and I'm here to tell you that it was the best burger I've ever put in my mouth (👩‍🍳chef's kiss) The restaurant was very clean and the staff are very friendly. Definitely get the fried cheesecake. I had to take it home because I was so full from my burger and fries, couldn't eat all mine, so yes, you get plenty of food. ...
