Atmosphere is pleasant and so are the waitresses.
Experience: I ordered a large beer and got a beer with an unexpectedly large amount of head, (foam). There was an inch and a quarter of head (foam). As in, the foam was down to the top part of the handle of the large mug. Being Un-experienced/lack in training on pouring technique is the cause of this abundant amount of head. (Foam)
I ordered the sliders (boom boom style) with onion rings. The sliders literally looked like hockey pucks. Visually they made me think fast food (frozen patties), but the flavor wise it was good. (I can only assume they are using a burger shaping tool, hope it's not a litteral frozen burger puck) When I read "boom boom style" I was expecting something with a kick but all I got was a small cup of sauce on the side that was like mustard. For $2.00 extra, I was expecting it to be part of the burgers and having a nice kick. Kroger boom boom sauce puts theirs to utter shame.
The onion rings, well, those have a love hate relationship. The first one I had was so delicious! But after the third one, I felt like I was eating straight salt. Like, after I was done eating all I could taste is salt and not even the beer could wash it down. EVERYTHING tasted like salt. Really recommend toning down the amount of salt in your batter by at least a tablespoon or two.
For the price I have paid, and the quality of food and drink received, this is not a restaurant I could recommend at this time.
I hope the experience referenced will bring...
Read moreI've been twice while in town on business. The first time I sat at the bar, which I regret. Smoking is allowed on that side of the building and as the place filled up I nearly got choked out. Plus, the bartender got distracted when a couple of her friends came in and she neglected me. Didn't keep my drink filled, didn't check on me, got my dinner order wrong, and didn't seem too bothered. "If you'd asked, I would have gotten you another drink." The food was amazing, the service was disappointing.
On my second visit I sat in the non-smoking dining room. I got much better service from someone who I thought might be an owner the way she took care of me. She'd only been working at Chasers for a short while.
Again, the food was amazing. I enjoyed one of the best ribeyes I've ever had dining out. Seriously, I remember the really good ones and can count then on the fingers of one hand. This one is top 5. Good piece of meat, well-marbled, and grilled perfectly. I actually tipped the woman working the grill. I've had the breaded mushrooms twice. They were a little chewy the second time with a heavier batter coating, but still very good. Not cheap frozen mushrooms. Fresh and homemade. The pork chop from my first visit was very good too, although the sauce or bourbon glaze they're so proud of didn't impress me much. Even the salad was good, with romaine instead of iceberg lettuce and bleu cheese crumbles.
I heartily recommend Chasers. I'd have given them 5 stars if not for the issues with the service on my...
Read moreNow that I MUST be beckoned back to this review to exonerate myself from your reply. At this rate I wish I could leave a negative review.. maybe Google will make that a new thing for an update. Anywho.. a well ran establishment would keep up with inventory and let guests know AHEAD of time instead of an "oh, sorry, we're out" AFTER the food is delivered. Also, the appetizers should come BEFORE the entree.. NOT with.. if unsure what an appetizer is, do look in a dictionary. Last but definitely not least, the food was delivered and after 10 min of sitting there with our uneaten plates and empty glasses sitting NOTICEABLY on the edge of the table WAITING for someone to come by... We left! We would gladly pay for the salads and single filled beverage if you'd like, but if you had SERVICE worth coming back to, there wouldn't be issues such as this. If you'd like me to come back and square up the debt, then go ahead and contact me. Hope you have a wonderful day and may your staff get...
