Grabbed dinner while on a work trip at one of very many Mexican restaurants in the area. Like a lot of Mexican restaurants, this one has an extensive menu, but it wasn't just various combinations of the same things. There were plenty of more unique dishes, and what stuck out to me was the tongue tacos. I don't live where these are commonly offered, so my decision-making stopped there. I ordered 2 tongue (lengua) tacos and a beef intestine (tripa) taco. They came hot on double tortillas, a red and green sauce with just the right amount of spice, a lime wedge for each taco, and plenty of chopped onion and cilantro. The lengua in particular was divine. I honestly forgot to ask my colleague how their food was, because I was too engrossed in mine. Service here was speedy and efficient, although there weren't many people when we went around 5pm on a Tuesday night. Highly recommended for the food...

I have been here a few times and after our first time we have had issues. This last time which was today I wanted to grab my kid something quick but not fast food. I ordered a kids meal! When I got there the server put in the wrong meal after I repeated it back to him, knowing they have messed up. The NERVE of him to have an attitude with me like I was in the wrong. My family and I have been in KY less than a month and we have been here at least 5 times spending way more than what a kids meal would cost. Show some respect!!! When you mess up own it! There was no reason to have an attitude with me and guess what I did not return the attitude to him. Last time, I ordered a veggie burrito and it had steak in it. We still went back. The food is delicious! And I’ve really only had one bad experience with staff. I used my card and didn’t leave a tip because I got cheese dip to go. But in the tip area someone change it to $5. And I could tell it was intentional or a frequent problem because when I called to complain he told me to just come down there and get $5 in cash without verifying my order or asking for receipt or proof.
